Memorial Day Weekend 2004 to the top
After a very busy year, Todd, Wendy, and I went down for a little fun in the sun. Despite the fact that it took almost 9:30 hours to get to Orlando (it seems that construction is always going on when I travel), we had a wonderful trip. We spent a few hours in Orlando visiting some of my family, and then we were off to my parent's condo on the beach. Even though we were there to relax, there was one very important mission to accomplish: buy fireworks (see the July 4th entry when it exists). Luckily for us, we had the time to stop by Jacksonville on the way back to Atlanta, and we enjoyed lunch with a few more friends. After fumbling around with making a cool photo album on my own, I finally caved in and used JAlbum. I didn't spend a ton of time organizing or writing captions; in fact, I didn't even bother to crop or adjust any of the images. Here it is.-chris
Some Random Pictures Around ATL to the top
Just a few things we did this week. Three
nights of
fun and excitement: Movie Night XIII was fun, we watched the
AnimatioN
Show and a few other short films. Matt, Julie, and I went and saw
the new
Harry Potter film. Then Chuck, Julie (juliew), Matt, Julie
(julief),
Myke, and I went to see Evolutions
(really
cool puppet show). I think Myke and Julie
(julieg) are going to see it again next week, and I'll probably end up
going at
least two more times. Matt and I are going to Dayton,
but don't expect any exciting pictures...I'm sure I'll throw something
up here,
it probably won't be entertaining. Here

Oh, Dayton, OHto the top
Well, Matt and I went to Dayton for a week. We both work at RCS--I've got some pictures of our journey, and some of them are more entertaining than I had predicted. However, I'm not sure exactly how it happened, but all of the timestamps went a little wacky (both this trip and Wendy's party). So I present our trip to Dayton in almost chronological order: Here.-chris
Wendy's Birthday Partyto the top
It gets you drunk. Well, straight from the airport, right on over to Todd's house. There’s nothing like a two day party to release some stress from work. It was a great time; although I was a little bummed that Wendy's present broke during shipping. Here are the people, which I can think of, that were there. My sister (Nicole), Alicia, and Beth came up from Orlando. Of course Todd, Wendy, Matt, and Julie (julief) were there. Myke and Julie (julieg) stopped by--also stopping by: Laura (it was her birthday too) and Alissa. A lot of the neighbors: Justin, Tess, Craig, Carolyn, Daniel, Shreath, and Barbara. A few more out of towners. From Jacksonville: Rocker and Liz. From Athens: Rob and Frany. Some more people that I remember meeting, but not necessarily how they are connected to everyone are: Jeff, Rhonda, and Trevor. There were more people there, but I can't remember everything or everyone. If I left you out, then know it was not intentional--send me an email to refresh my memory. There were a ton of cameras at the party, as I get more pictures, I'll create more albums, or post some links. Until then: Here.

Having some fun with Fruitto the top
Although unintentional, we ended up eating a lot of fruit this week. You see, when Myke and I were shopping for groceries, we stumbled upon the Grapple. You’re supposed to pronounce it “grape-el,” but we had many names for them. Essentially, these are apples that have been soaked in grape concentrate, so that the “Concord Grape Essence” is through out the apple. In reality, they smell like that fake grape in candy, and have a little grape after taste (and are real expensive too). Matt wanted to make jam so he asked Julie to pick up “a lot” of strawberries…boy, did she ever come through. We had fun messing around, eating, and playing with the extras. The jam was good too. He had jam and ham, although no together. Now if we substitute guns, whisky, and revenge for jam, we would have a kick’n Alvis day festival. Oh well, maybe next time. Here are some pics.
-chrisHanging with Chuck on his Birthdayto the top
Chuck and Michael (not to be confused with Myke) had birthdays…Chuck is 0x24 and Michael is 24, despite their numeric base differences, Chuck considers themselves to be twins. Myke, Matt, Julie, and I met up with Chuck and company at the Hand in Hand pub, and I have the photos to prove it. Happy birthday Chuck! Here.
-chrisSummits...our first tripto the top
My friend Matt (Pilot Matt), had a night to kill in Atlanta before he had to work again. So Myke, Matt, Matt, and I went to this neat place: Summits Wayside Tavern. They have 83 taps that beer flow through, and after drinking 100 unique, on tap beers, you get your own personalized (and bigger) mug. Well, I am 3% of the way there. Tuesday nights are team trivia nights, and our team, the Vaseline Zombies, got off to a strong start. However, when we got to pop culture events that happened well before our time, we got crushed. We need to hit up some of our older friends to help bolster our lineup (are you out there Chuck, Allen, Matt?). Good beer, good food, nice atmosphere, and with one of my room mates moving to the other side of town…this may prove to be a great Tuesday night hang out. Check out the pics Here.

Independence Day 2004to the top
I took a few days off from work, and had a great time in Florida. I got to see a ton of people, and made things explode. I don’t have much to say, I think the pictures speak for themselves (plus I’m exhausted). Here
. -chrisWow, I've been lazy...to the top
Okay, so I haven't updated this page in a while...sue me. Well
actually don't sue me, I'm busy enough as is. Since I am fairly lazy,
I'll just do a massive update right here, right now. I'll even mix up
my methods by combining events and dates. Chaos will ensue, and
the earth may implode, but, I'm willing to take those kind of
risks. So without further Holdup I present:
A Thursday night: Here. Matt, Julief, Myke, and I went out for some drinks and shuffleboard. Just blow'n off some steam during the week, you know the little things in life.
Evan and Melissa's wedding: Here. My good friend Evan got married to one of the sweetest girls I've met, and I've got some pictures to prove it.
Out on Allen's Boat: Here. After work, Allen took Matt, Matt #2, Gary, Joey, and me out on Lake Lanier. Beers, friends, a lot of fun.
Dayton, Oh...again: Here. Here are some pics from my last two trips to Dayton. Mostly boring sky pictures, but Matt and I did go to Cedar Point, and a few other fun things the second trip.
Nicole's ATL trip: Here. Nicole, Matt, Renae, Samantha, and Will came to town. We went to a Brave's game (Nicole is responsible for all of the man ass pictures :) and did some partying over at Todd and Wendy's place.
Alrighty, I'll try to do better about keeping up to date...maybe.

Going to Miamito the top
Okay, so I said that I would try to be better about keeping this page up to date...well, I still suck at it.I got to spend a little bit of time with some friends that I hadn't seen in way too long. In between all of the hurricanes, I was able to scooch on down to Miami, and have a blast. It was Carisa's birthday, so we had to have a little party, and Dave and I went sailing with his friend Joe...sorry I don't have any pictures of the topless women. In all actuality, they weren't all that attractive. This was during the MTV award show, so things were a little strange (like the two story robot in the middle of the street...again no pics). However, I did get plenty pictures of me and my friends, and that's what's really important. You can see boobs and robots anywhere on the Internet. Oh, and Dave and Carisa have the cutest little dog, see for yourself here.

Wine Drunkingto the top
WineSouth! I had never been, niether had Matt nor Julie(f) [for those keeping track at home]--we'll be back next year. Tons of wine, lots of food, three twenty-somethings armed with glasses and plates. It was supposed to be a tasting...and boy did we taste a lot. I did find some new types of wine that I would like to explore in greater, and more sober, detail. See our drunken debauchery here.-chris
PS Don't forget about the BrewFest; It kicked some major ass last year!
Equinox Party!to the top
My good friends Chuck and Julie threw there first ever Equinox party. Wow. I'll just repeat, wow. If you want to read more about it, check out my Live Journal...Julie(g) [again, for those at home] finally broke me, after years of resistance, and I can now write useless stuff that will probably come back to haunt me later, oh well. Here are some pics.-chris
Company Cookoutto the top
Well our company had a nice cook out today, and they put me in charge. This was not a task that I took lightly, and Myke, Matt, and I made sure of two things: that this happened and that it was most excellent. It was a rousing success, if I don’t say so myself, and if you don’t believe, then here are a few pictures to prove it.-chris
Joe's Weddingto the top
Well, it took him a lot to get here...I don't think I should say anything else; here are the pics.-chris
Julief's Birthdayto the top
Well, Julief's birthday and a football game...because Julief is cool like that. Any way, had a ton of fun at both...here's some picsSweetwater tour and puppetsto the top
I got some beers and I got some puppets, check it out! I've noticed that I'm describing less now that I'm using livejournal...deal with it.Halloween Partyto the top
Had a great, and busy weekend. Partied with Tess, Justin, and most of the usual suspects (Todd+Wendy, Matt+Julie). We ended doing a little off-roading, and some unintentional mudding ;). Check out the pics here.-chris
More Hang'n Around to the top
Here's a nice little collection of pics from various events of over the past couple of weeks. You'll even see some sneak peaks at "Teh Canoe!" (working name). Like most everything else on this page, most of them are party pics :D. Check'm out here-chris
Dante's Chocolate to the top
Wow. It's been way too long since I've updated this page...so here we go. The only word that can describe Dante's Down the Hatch's Chocolate Fondue is 'decadent.' These pics don't do it justice. This is a must have experience. Here-chris
Hockey Time to the top
Sometimes, not always, we ago a hockeying...this is one such time. I used a newer version of JAlbum, and it doesn't seem to put in the little "Up" option from the gallery; I guess you'll just need to use your broswer's back button, because I'm too lazy to fix it. Hockey lives here.-chris
Winter Solstice Party to the top
The Winter Solstice is a special time to many people. For Chuck and Julie, it is an opportunity to party. Here.-chris
